After five wonderful years at home with my three precious kiddos I returned to the classroom this week. It was all in God's hands!!
Back in January Bill and I decided that I would begin subbing and seein how things worked for us. Then the budget cuts began and teaching jobs were not going to be easy to come by. We prayed long and hard about what was right for our family and we determined that if God inteded for me to be in the classroom it would have to be in Winters, Texas. We have made our home here and it was not ok for me to drive and be away from the family. Well, just let me say GOD IS GOOD!!!
In July I recieved a call from our new elementary principal and new superintendent. They asked me if I would like to be a BLIZZARD this year and I was filled with JOY!!! God has given me the opportunity to be an influence on HIS children and I hope and pray I will be a GODLY influence on them!
So, here is to a GREAT year as a BLIZZARD!!!

Hope your year is going great. I'm sure it's been an adjustment, but I know you're handling beautifully. Knowing that you're impacting the future and being a positive light in these children's lives is humbling. Would love to know what grade you're teaching. :)
